Silage

The empty silage clamp
The clamp must be cleaned ready for the new crop. All traces of the
previous year's silage are removed and any matter that might rot and cause
spoilage is removed. The floor of the clamp must be watertight or else
highly polluting fluids might leak out. A fresh plastic sheet is prepared
and weighted down with old tyres - This will be the waterproof cover and it
must not have any holes or the crop may be ruined.
